A bit about me

I’ve spent 15 years in marketing and communications, across startups, scale-ups and larger companies. I started out writing and editing, and went on to work across brand, digital, websites, CRM and marketing automation. Along the way I moved into senior roles, including Head of Marketing and seats on management teams.

I repositioned a company from ethanol supplier to global commodities sourcing partner, built commercial funnels in HubSpot, scaled a marketing team from one to six, worked as a reporter and writer, and co-founded a plastic-free oral-care brand from concept to market.

What I’ve learned is that marketing works when the whole business works together: the offer, sales, and the people who deliver it. When that happens, marketing flows. It’s what I love most about this work. I work side by side with sales, so marketing brings in the right clients and helps keep them.

Why I work for myself

For most of my career I did this work inside other people’s companies. It mattered, but part of me stayed safely in the background.

Now I run my own business, put my name behind it and show up fully, every day. That changed how I work with clients: you get the real me, opinions included. I know what it takes to stand behind your business, because I’m doing it too.

How I work

Fast and independent. Give me the goal and the context, and I’ll take it from there. I make decisions, manage my own priorities and move things forward without needing close supervision.

Resourceful and creative. I do my best work when there’s no obvious answer yet: a new direction, a messy funnel, a business that has outgrown its story. I’m comfortable with the undefined, and good at finding practical ways forward. I like figuring it out with you and then building it, whether that’s the strategy, the page, the funnel or the message.

Big picture, then hands-on. I’m good at seeing patterns and connecting the dots across marketing, sales and the business. Then I’m equally happy writing the page, building the funnel or fixing the CRM.
